We are pleased to advise that the 2026 flu vaccine is available at Mornington Health Centre from 1st April 2026.

Who Should Get Vaccinated?

The annual flu vaccination is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over and is particularly important and funded for those at a higher risk of getting very sick.

Free Vaccination

The flu vaccine is free for the following people:

  • People aged 65 years and older (Māori, Pasifika and former refugees from 50 years).
  • Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
  • Children and adults with chronic health conditions
  • Healthcare workers and caregivers
  • Anyone who wants to reduce their risk of catching the flu

If you are not eligible for a free vaccine, there is a charge of $ 45

Getting your annual flu vaccination is one of the best ways to protect yourself, your family, and your community from influenza. The vaccine is updated each year to provide protection against the most common flu strains expected this season.
