Most medical centres charge patients for non-consultation work involving GPs, such as emails and forms. In the past, MHC has absorbed these costs in order to keep medical expenses for our patients as low as possible.

However, the large amount of time this work now takes has forced us to reconsider our position and we regret that a  nominal fee will now be charged.

These fees are listed below but please be aware that where a task is more complex or takes more time than expected, a GP may charge a higher rate than is noted here.

 

Completing disability allowance forms (including those for medical alarms and counselling)

Responding to referral letters (including those requested by outside providers where you are not seen by your GP, E.g. green prescriptions)

Other letters (including those requested by you or on your behalf for WINZ, licencing authorities, lawyers etc)

Emails or MMH communications

MMH Prescription      $21

 Phone Prescription  $22

  

Children 0-17 Prescriptions $11

(additional $8 for urgent prescriptions required within 24 hours)

 

Driving Medicals $92.00
