Update on Manage My Health
Manage My Health has advised that a cybersecurity incident occurred in late December involving access to some documents stored in the My Health Documents area of the system, affecting a percentage of users in New Zealand.
The issue has been fully contained and fixed following an independent forensic review, and the system is safe to use.
Although we no longer use Manage My Health as our patient portal, it is possibly that your historic data is held by them. Much to our frustration Manage My Health would not delete our patient data when we requested this last year.
If your information has been affected, Manage My Health will contact you directly.
We have been advised by HealthNZ and Manage My Health that we are not to directly contact affected patients.

If you want to ensure that you do not have any data on Manage My Health, go to the MMH app and sign in – go to My Account – Close Account. They should delete your account and data within a few days.
