You may pay using one of the following:
If you do not pay on the day of your consultation, you will be sent an account at the end of the month. Payment is expected by the 20th of the following month and there is a billing fee of $2 for each account posted.
We offer an automatic payment facility for those patients who prefer to make regular payments against their account. This can be arranged through our practice administrator.
If you do not pay by the due date, we reserve the right to refer your account to a debt collection agency. This will cost you approximately 25% more than the original amount you owe, plus legal fees. If your account is lodged with a collection agency you will no longer be given credit and will need to pay your bill on the day of your visit.
Accounts that remain unpaid will be recorded with the Credit Reporting Authority and this may adversely affect your ability to obtain credit with other businesses.
If all or part of your account is 60 days or more overdue, we will ask you to pay before any GP or nurse service is provided unless it is a medical emergency.
