MHC has had to implement a number of changes to the way we provide care for our patients during the constantly changing Covid environment. These changes have enabled us to continue to deliver accessible high quality health care to our patients while continuing to keep patients and staff safe.
When booking an appointment, we strongly encourage telephone or video consults with your doctor where possible to limit the number of patients in the health centre at any one time. We continue to offer bookings via Manage My Health for phone or video consults only. If you need to book a face-to-face consult with your doctor or nurse, please phone reception to make an appointment and they will give you instructions on whether you need to wait in your vehicle prior to your appointment.
If you have any Covid or respiratory symptoms (runny nose, sneezing, cough, fever, aches, loss or smell or any other cold or flu symptoms.) please phone us BEFORE coming to the practice. It is also important to advise reception If you are a ‘Household Contact’ or if you have had Covid but have ongoing (or new symptoms) so that they can book you an appointment in the appropriate area.
Please let our reception team know if you have a mask exemption and they will give you instructions on what you need to do to keep yourself safe when you arrive for your appointment.
When arriving at the practice, to keep other patients and staff safe, we ask you NOT to arrive early for your appointment and before entering the practice, please put on a mask and use the hand sanitiser at the door. Everyone aged 12 years and over needs to wear a medical mask while inside the building. If you do not have one, we have some available at the practice.
