Niranjan joined Mornington Health Centre in 2007 having worked here as a registrar in 2006. Originally form Nepal Niranjan works as a full time Locum GP:
After completing my medical degree from Kathmandu, Nepal, I undertook surgical training and research in Japan where I gained a PhD in Gastrointestinal surgery and Organ transplant surgery.
I worked in Wellington hospital voluntarily, assisting in general and transplant surgery until obtaining medical registration in NZ. I worked as a registrar at Wakefield Hospital in general surgery and have done research on obesity and presented papers at national and international conferences. I took up general practice as a career and joined MHC in 2007 as full time locum GP after working there as a registrar in 2006. I enjoy general practice and its challenges.
I also enjoy traveling and the company of friends and family. |
