Keith was born and grew up in County Antrim , Northern Ireland. He went on to study Medicine at the University of Dundee in Scotland. After graduation he completed his internship in Scotland and then traveled to New Zealand, working in Kew Hospital, Invercargill.
Keith had an interest in General Practice from early on in his career and thus returned to Scotland where he completed General Practice training in Edinburgh. Whilst back in Scotland Keith decided that the grass was definitely greener for him in the Southern Hemisphere and on completion of his training moved to South Otago to work in rural General Practice.
He moved closer to town and joined the Mornington team in late 2010. His work interests include Dermoscopy, Minor Surgery and Sports Medicine. He also continues to have an interest in rural health and is lucky enough to still locum in rural areas. Outside of work Keith enjoys all things outdoors but especially fishing and surfing. |
