Making an Appointment

Appointments can be made by phone, in person, or via the ‘book an appointment’ tab on this website once you have been registered for Manage My Health.  Some appointments, such as antenatal, surgical procedures, and personal problems may require longer appointments.  Urgent problems will always be dealt with immediately, however, it may not always be with your usual GP.

PLEASE NOTE: Appointments booked via MMH are for registered patients only - please do not book a visiting family member in under your MMH log in

If you have any health or safety concerns for children, please call immediately.

Some tips to help streamline appointments at MHC:

  • Try to arrive a few minutes early.  It is not uncommon for the GP’s to be able to see patients earlier, particularly if an earlier patient has not attended
  • If you cannot make you appointment, please ring reception and let them know as quickly as possible.  This will allow the appointment to be booked for a patient requiring urgent attention
  • Finally, please be understanding when the GP or nurse is running behind time. They do their best to see you at the correct time of your appointment, but a number of instances occur daily which are beyond their control.
